This guy is a vegan as well.
For how long? Usually the malnutrition only sets in around year 5.
Ultimately the vegan diet is a quantitatively inferior diet, because protein and nutrient uptake from plant sources is much less efficient than that from animal sources. Not only that but you also have to contend with much higher than normal amounts of plant anti-nutrients (almost all plants have some anti-nutrients, which are not very good for you and require preparation to get rid of the majority of). Most vegans also have to rely very heavily on supplements, which are themselves even less efficient (thus the high dosages in them).
Can it work? Sure. But it's still simply inferior.

Completely agree. In another reply I equated it to a wind-powered car. It would get you there, but would be a really fucking stupid thing to do.
It's also incredibly stupid from the perspective of people who are trying to "save the environment" since almost all livestock is raised on land that isn't suitable for growing crops, which takes, all in all, a lot more water and energy than livestock do.
And the people who do it because they're sad for the animals (which I agree with to an extent with factory farming practices) are just sad for the animals because they've never done any hunting or animal related food prep on their own.
Plus meat just tastes better. The ultimate gigachad argument.
But what about all the cow farts that are destroying the environment?
I mean, these exist, but nothing for the cows’ asses….yet anyway…

Really, that’s the only one you’d need…
