IIRC this as well as WACO are what directly led to the Oklohoma bombing, which the ATF knew about before hand and instead of stopping it they decided to allow their desk jockies to bring their children to work while the field agents took the day off.
The claim that there was a daycare at a government building is nothing but propaganda. No government buildings have daycare in them. They did that because they knew if it came out that he bombed the building in response to the government murdering women and children he would be seen as a hero and a martyr.
It's either or and I wouldn't put it past them to sacrifice the children of desk jockies to further there plans. Heck they would probably sacrifice their own children. But yeah, just as likely there was no daycare and it was a lie.
