Here is the 120 year time line I see:

1930 - 1959: depression, WWII, rebuilding - hard times create strong men

1960 -1989: middle class prosperity, space program, sex+drugs+rock and roll - strong men create good times

1990 - 2019: feminism, gay rights, safe spaces - good times create weak men

2020 - 2049: erosion of white values, violence, socialism, economic collapse - weak men create hard times

Yes, it's lonely being one in a world of unthinking drones. I was like that in grade school. One school I arrived at midyear and I quickly moved down the social ladder after the teacher hit me for not paying attention. He isolated me from the other students in his "dummy chair" at the front. I hated him and totally refused to do any school work. If I could have found a way to be expelled I would have. I said "fuck you" to another teacher at lunch break but all that got me was a trip to the principal's office and a paddling. By then I hated them all and would have gladly burned the school down. Social workers were called in who spoke gently to me, asked tons of questions and had me look at ink blots and tell them what I saw as well as have me do all sorts of puzzles and tests. I was transferred to another class where the lady teacher let me basically do whatever I wanted all day which was read books, not participate with group activities and go hide in a storage cabinet under a table to sleep, read a book or just daydream. Then another student claimed a storage cabinet next to mine. We started chatted back and forth through the sliding grills which made up the doors. We shared a mutual hatred of school in general and mean teachers in particular but agreed our teacher was the best ever. On weekends she would come to my grandparent's house where I lived and take me to her apartment to enjoy her pool and play with her toddler. The kid bored me as he was four and a bit slow but I felt I owed her a favor so I pretended to enjoy being "big brother". The big perk for me was the jealousy from my older brother and sister. So back st school my fellow refusnik and I started participating more and more and even doing homework. We hung out at recess and refused to associate with the "tards" while we swapped stories, shared tips on the best way to make and fly kites and talked about girls. One girl in particular who would claim around on the monkey bars in a little skirt. What color panties she wore for the day was worth knowing.
