Haha, ok, fair enough. I should have added the caveat that I don't know for SURE they don't think they are superior. I guess that isn't surprising. My point was that their strong reason for not allowing foreigners in couldn't be simply dismissed as mere "racism". My understanding of the culture came from a white professor I had in college. He created a whole Japanese society curriculum of classes based on the many years he was actually allowed to live there, and was granted the rare access to portions of their society usually off-limits to white people. Interesting guy, great class.
