There has been some talk of Toyota reintroducing a no frills base model mini truck (roadandtrack.com).
They show a 2WD version in the pictures. Not a pretty truck though. Still, I would check it out if they make it available in the next few years.

I did hear rumors a while back. That’s cool, I hope they go forward with it. Definitely a game changer to the industry if they do. Sorta an Americanized jap truck platform. For my purposes and lifestyle the more utilitarian the better! Purpose driven design is okay with me. Lol, pretty girls ain’t always the best girls!
