A "polite demand", eh? Let me take a swing at what this probably sounded like:

Faggot Quora User (FQU): "Hey there, neighbor, I was stalking your social media, and I noticed some photos of you holding guns. Take me inside of your house and let me see your gun safe, right now, and prove to me that you're trained to be responsible with them- I'll need documentation, any and all training you've ever had, a copy of your concealed carry permit, a copy of your purchase receipts, and so on. Without this, I just can't feel safe living next to you, so... let's go to your gun safe... or else."

Gun Owner: "What? Fuck you, get off my lawn you fucking weirdo."

Dude should've brought this whacko to his gun safe, opened it, and been like "Hey, my 'training paperwork' is alllll the way in the back, you might have to reach in there..." Then, while the busybody faggot is rummaging in the safe, OOPS the safe door swung closed on his head, repeatedly, smashing it into a paste. OH NO, WHAT A TRAGIC ACCIDENT! If only he wasn't so fucking nosy, he wouldn't be in this man's house trying to scout his armaments!

I'd have a totally different take on this if the gun owner was, idk, negligently discharging his weapon or firing it off dangerously in the backyard and, y'know, actually endangering people. Simply owning a weapon doesn't make you a danger, despite what these faggots believe.

This has to come from a place of insecurity, right? Quora faggot wants to disarm the (likely masculine) neighbor, in order to bring him down to the faggot neighbor's level of dependence on the state and other people to protect them. The notion that this neighbor might be able to protect himself and his family on his own gets under Quora Faggot's skin, because Quora Faggot knows that if Tyrone and Dayquandrius kicks their door in at 2:00am, guns in hand, they're fucking dead. Their neighbor has a chance. This seems "unfair" to Quora Faggot, and rather than simply arming himself, he'd rather disarm everyone else. This is like a paraplegic person having a desire to see everyone lose their legs.

Yeah, if this is real, someone definitely needs to be "redflagged."
