and you know what, it's ok to interpret something poorly or use your knowledge and experience to try and make sense of something you don't know. that's alright, that's using your brain to try and figure something out. sometimes it works out to be correct and sometimes not. the problem is when someone comes along and bursts your bubble and instead of acknowledging your assumption were not correct you attacked the person pointing out the truth. not allowing other viewpoints, especially when you're not sure yourself or in uncharted territory (*cough* covid *cough*), is the real issue holding us back.
