They can't afford it. Many working people (not the trust fund kiddies who become landlords) are spending well over half their income on rent because the alternative is homelessness. Apparently buying an extra house twenty years ago entitles you to own slaves. Who knew?

Those aren't landlords, they own properties sure but they source everything out to other jewish corps. to do the managing of the property - if it can even be called that. Again: that's not being a landlord.
So you define landlord as just the good ones? That's circular but ok, good landlords are good. But most "people who own rental properties but aren't landlords because reasons" do exactly what those corporations do on a smaller scale. A few of them buy up every available property in town and start charging 1000+ a month in rent, mysteriously never undercutting each other in price. Maybe you live in a big city and don't see the small time land barons doing this.
Part of the problem is inflation, banks and stupid regulations pushing house prices to ridiculous heights but "people who own rental properties but aren't landlords because reasons" are also driving up the prices. Probably deliberately.

I'll resist the urge to "ok boomer" you but this definitely implies you're old. It was probably true once but now most Americans under 50 rent or live with their parents, meaning landlords aren't just a part of growing up but a near life long burden on their shoulders.
But I guess that's fine, White people should just wait until they're 50 and sterile to start a family. They can just adopt Haitians right?
