Yes. Hitler and the 3rd Reich made plenty of errors, and as depressing as that is it cost them. I and others can learn from , have learned from and are continuing to learn from those mistakes.

I always felt that assuming the Brits (British elite and jews) would return any goodwill was a big mistake, along with not securing or finding oil supplies before the war. No one should have been allowed to leave Dunkirk.
