My tweet below about Howard Lutnick short-selling 911 airline stocks was pure conjecture. After doing some digging, it turns out Cantor Fitzgerald WAS buying big airline puts in the run-up to 911, based on tips from the firm being run by Buzzy Krongard—later appointed Deputy Director of the CIA!
