The kid refused to adopt it, and at best became bilingual in it. He never spoke it outside the house.

The father ended the experiment a few years in regardless, because the language was too limited in vernacular. Overall, it was a science experiment in being bilingual, but failed to understand that the manufactured languages like Esperanto and Klingon fail because there's no world applications for them, and it's difficult to maintain your fluency in a language if your unable to use it regularly
