Been telling people in my life this forever and they simply won't listen. I don't watch movies with specific actors or messages. Vote with your dollars. Pay for local, even if it costs more. Learn to cook and grow your own food. Even if you only grow a little. Learn to forage. There is plenty in the woods. When SHTF not everyone will know what to forage. Know your area. Our lawns are full of edible foods. Stop spraying chemicals on your lawn! Everyone is going to regret not doing these things in the near future. Guess I got distracted and digressed.

It makes my wife mad, but i refuse to go see the new films that are 'woke' and have a hollywood liberal/communist 'star'. I add several to my list of NO every month. let them starve.
I just went to the theater for the first time in a decade tonight to watch Nefarious.
No regrets. Not Hollywood in any shape or form.
Edit: My girlfriend was crying in the theater. Some shit hit home for her and I'll leave it at that.

People want to be able to keep up with the (metaphorical) water cooler discussions. In school the here-today-forgotten-tomorrow TV shows were a large percentage of small talk, just after petty gossip about other people.
