Eh, I’m inclined to think that’s a naturally developed in-group. Arabs dominate convenience store ownership because of their upbringing where not having something to sell or trade at market meant you didn’t eat, not because they were selected for any reason. Part of one of those wonderful immigration laws passed by (((Congress))) 50 or 60 years ago gave special exemptions from cumbersome taxes to certain immigrants from middle eastern countries, mainly India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Iran. How can native-born American compete with that? They don't have to pay taxes. The law allows immigrants to do business for 5 years tax free. That's why every 5 years, they "sell" their business to a brother, a cousin, an uncle or some other family member that they've brought over in the last 5 years at, of course, a loss. "A loss" so they can get a government grant to start over again.
If you, as a White man or woman born in America wanted to buy a convenience store, open a mom-and-pop shop, you will pay full tax and be visited by several government agencies that won't look the other way when they see rodent droppings in the corner of your storage shed.
