This is totally fucked up, Aussies LOVE guns. I was talking to one Aussie last week and his first question to me was to ask for a range recommendation. Another Aussie guy (also last week) was complaining about knoife laws down under, you can't carry any knife that you can open with one hand. I pulled out my EDC (Spyderco Military special edition with Titanium handles) and he said nope. Not allowed. They apparently have English laws there where you can carry a box-cutter but only if you are on your way to work in a warehouse or construction site etc. He did say that he got a rather large switchblade from overseas and "I'm not telling them about it, fuck 'em". Aussies live in a country where everything is trying to kill them and they can't even carry a knoife? They are getting pissed off about it too.
