The problem for Europeans is that they don't expect these sorts of things over here, in fact, they rarely if ever used to happen. Now they seem to be a weekly occurrence. For the last ten years, since Merkle opened the flood gates everybody is scared, my wife just spent a week in Spain and none of her friends wanted to go out after dark, they were all afraid of being raped or worse (Spain has a woman raped every 15 minutes currently which is five times higher than in 2019), other friends who are around Europe tell me about no-go zones in their own countries. Even though we live in a totally safe area she has started to lock our doors at night. It's all FUBAR.
