It actually seems, after I have looked into it a bit more, that this falls firmly into the laps of the communist Spanish government's push for "green" energy. I think that a likely explanation is that due to the weakening of their power grids across the entire Iberian peninsula thanks to "green" power initiatives they opened a HUGE vulnerability to protecting their citizens well being.
Blaming it on "climate change" is just maxi-cope so that the commies in power don't have to pay the political price for this monumental fuck up.
I don't live there myself but I do have a condo there that I rent out so I am somewhat interested in this clusterfuck, if this keeps happening due to mismanagement or active sabotage I might have to sell the place.
Sucks to live in Spain in current year.
the most likely reason is indeed "too much grid connected solar"
an inverter is not able to "hold the line" in V and/or frequency, it just "follows" and when the jitter is too much all falls apart
solution ? houses must have their own batteries (a boon for china battery market !)
