There is more than one definition for the word "race", unless you're a racist idiot apparently.
"Savage" is likely meant to honor a person of notoriety. Many old street names where drafted by the original resident who lived there.
In general street names then to be of places [other states/cities] or sometimes things (such as names of trees) and intersected by numbers. Any street name outside of that naming convention likely has some historical significance.
Why's it always (((scholars)))? How unimportant of a job do you have to have to think of doing this kind of crap? Why did/do we allow these jobs?
