I've been hearing all my life, and I'm old, that a woman can do anything that a man can do. Yet, sports are still separated by gender. I find this confusing. Why is there still women's sports and men's sports? Why isn't there just "sports" where everyone competes together? Why is anything still allowed to exist that separates people by gender? Are we all the same or not? Oh, wait, I see, one side gets to decide when we're the same and when we're not. I understand now...
