Interesting. I have no experience with electric mowers either but the $500 price tag is preventing me from trying one. My current mower is a 3 year old Walmart Chinese model that only needed a new spark plug in the second year and has ran like a champ since. Paid $199 for it. If it ever stops I'll head my ass back to Walmart for the next one.
