I'm not a libertarian, but it should instead be "until we end the welfare state, we can't have open borders". They would see open borders as desirable, but that immigration would self limit based on property values and freedom of association. This is assuming we're talking about a Ron Paul / Mises / Hayek etc. style right libertarian, not a "libertarian socialist" type which just wants the government to support their drug binges.

When libertarians formed a political party (Big L) Libertarians, they went all askew. The idea of Freedom is incompatible with any political ideology. But private property and full control of one's own life are the ideal. Minus the State, all land is privately owned, even the roads and airports. Immigration cannot be a problem when they have no access to the property of others.

I partially agree with accelerationism. For example, I absolutely support gender equality in sport, at least until women and soyboys stop pretending that men and women are equal. Until then I will celebrate trannies outperforming or even killing women in professional sport!
However I think when it comes to open borders and immigration, accelerationism is a dangerous game that could go horribly wrong.
