it used to be society would self police women from being complete fucking whores by forcing women to be boudn to the family, and there were TONS of protections to stop women from succumbing to their own shitty behaviors. For example, women int he 1950s could NOT take out loans or get a bank account without the permission of the husband. Not because they weren't capable of doing so, but because men back then knew it was a fucking terrible idea to give women access to cash. Look at women now, 75% of all student loan holders, trillions in welfare debt, baby mama payments, etc
