Anyone nowadays who expects the end of the world, but does not join a religion is a fucking idiot. Your friends and your mutual commitment to each other will decide your survival. It's no wonder we're instinctually conditioned to believe in a "man in the sky", when you think of how well a group of men with shaky morals would survive in a civilization ending disaster.
