As a White guy with no higher imperative mandating a moratorium on bugs, I don't get the whole "don't eat bugs" thing. The whole "Don't eat bugs" is clearly a Jewish thing.
I'm searching the Sagas and Eddas for any commandment from the White-Gods not to eat bugs. It's not there. Only the (((Foreign-Jew-God))) says not to eat bugs.
Not that I'm going to go out and eat a handful of cicadas or anything, but at least I know the option is there if I need it.
