The lumber industry has been adding capacity in the US for the past 4 years, at least. Ever since the tariffs on Canadian lumber were being discussed. I've personally worked on at least 6 different new and expanded mills in that time. Many others we're built that I had no part of. I can't blame the mills for playing wait and see with the clowns we have running the government.
