This is actually sort of interesting. This view that when the sun goes down, it comes up at night as the moon, is very primal. It's the kind of thing a primitive native in the jungle with no education of any kind might think. The notion falls apart if you point out that sometimes, the moon and the sun are both in the sky at the same time, but an unobservant, uneducated savage, especially one living in a highrise apartment in New York or Los Angeles, might not notice this.
