Very true. I always thought all that monotheist talk in their scriptures of sheep/shepherds was very telling.

Well, yea...the only reason an animal will survive a broken limb is if humans intervene. If humans don't intervene, the animal most likely starves to death or dies trying to hunt while hurt.
