the tech level within Norse describes odd metals, transforming vehicles, advanced weapons, exotic tailored biological life, and the explicit use and control of electricity

what if, these things describe the high tech of an old, advanced civilization? was there a period of advanced civilization some X thousand years ago they hide from us?

By PIE you mean agriculture or just the linguistic aspect?

Group selection theory and the level of geneological replacement that happened during the expanse of agriculture suggests that the group of humans that implemented agriculture broadly were genealogically distinct from the people that where their prior.

The thing about evolution is that it doesn't make the same group of people smarter. It selects from existing peoples (group selection theory) that are already smart. So in theory the agricultural / expansive group didn't evolve to be smart and then expand. They were smart all along and then expanded when the conditions were right for it.

That means there was at least some small group intelligent enough for agriculture and or had the right emotional instinct for it (planning) from the beginning but just weren't dominant. These people could have existed well into the earliest side of the stone age.

the entire human cultural root. tech, people, history, religion, all of it. IE the full and complete picture of the period we've lost in the archeological record.

Are you saying the entire human cultural root comes out of PIE? What about China or Japan?

I agree that a certain kind of person came out of that and that China and Japan aren't included. I may get some heat for this but working with many Indians I see a lot of similarities to us that I just don't see in any foreign group of people. It's scary because it reveals just how justified your subcountious racism has been toward all other people. When you talk to them like you talk to all other brown skinned people and they just talk to you like a normal person. It's not expected because you typically try to talk to other people like they are normal people and it just doesn't work. And you just don't notice the difference in how you've been forced to talk to other people until you talk to an Indian.

Other huge behavior similarities between us and Indians I've noticed is they have the same or similar empathic reasoning.

I remember when my Indian boss (female) mentioned that a hispanic couple hit their kid and she told me she was physically shaking and didn't want to interact with them. My internal reaction was "that's really the first time you've seen a brown person hit their kid in public? Really?"

There are other similarities I've noticed in the way groups self organize fluidly among them without direction that I've really only noticed around white people. They are pack humans with seemingly exactly similar pack instincts as ourselves. Others have other instincts and you pick up on them. With them there are no differences to pick up on.

There are real differences to pick up on so it's not like I've been diverting my eyes from seeing differences. They do not have the same aversion to filth that we do and they are not organized. They leave everything a mess.
