This seems to be a dividing line in what kind of heathen you are.
Over on reddit they are very universalist about it. (Over on Voat, there was even an older now defunct sub that has "no racism" as a rule.)
Meanwhile of voat, the prevailing view is Asatru is based on European traditions. That it doesn't make sense for non-Europeans to partake. Africans, for example, have their own pre-Christian spiritual traditions to draw from.
