This seems to be a dividing line in what kind of heathen you are.

Over on reddit they are very universalist about it. (Over on Voat, there was even an older now defunct sub that has "no racism" as a rule.)

Meanwhile of voat, the prevailing view is Asatru is based on European traditions. That it doesn't make sense for non-Europeans to partake. Africans, for example, have their own pre-Christian spiritual traditions to draw from.

What do you think?

Yeah, I think that argument has more merit than the plebbit view.

Personally, I don't care since I have no control over what other people choose to worship.

I don't identify with 'Asatru'. I see it as an attempt to create an organized religion out of heathen beliefs and regimented practices along the lines of what the Abrahamic faiths created. It's a good force because it's exposing people to heathen beliefs, and might inspire other people to research the subject, but it's not for me.

Maybe if I was an 'Asatruar' it would be easier to be bothered by confused niggers wanting to join my tribe and hang out in my hof and be in the yearly members' photo. Maybe I would want to stear them toward African heathenism. On the other hand, how could their research into the European heathen gods be harmful to their spiritual development, other than being a waste of time and making them look a bit silly?
