I need to get a FFL but what is stopping people like us from creating a major advertised "buy back" (private sale) program to just buy up all of the old, cool, random stuff based on their worth and not a static price?

If the gov can do it, why cant a citizen group not do it? Sounds like we need a NGO/5013c group to start doing this.

I mean, you could end up with some really cool stuff for cheap. At worst? You keep the gov from getting it and can re-sell it later. Legally.

Even better, can this be part of a gun show or something? Have a "buy back line" where people can just drive up and 20-30 people are there to say, sure. Ill do a private sale for this?" If you get to the end of the line and no one wants it, then you can sell it to a "scrap" buyer.

Any 'Gov.' that accepts a 10-20k firearm (they will know that) and gives the Victim 250 isa criminal organization.

I agree entirely. There are multiple guntuber videos of this happening. It is fucking tragic. Even the cops taking the guns in some cases know what is being "sold back" knowing it will be destroyed and it is a historic artifact.

"We" need to make this a thing. Fuck it. Im going to figure out how to get a FFL and set up something like a "farmers market" for people that want to sell their guns. This needs to be done nation wide.

You are 100% correct and the next few years are when the Boomers that Know what a 'real Firearm' is will be 'passing' and their moron kids will be looking to sell them for $100.

Sadly, I have lost some cool stuff that should have been passed down to me. Kind of why I am so annoyed about this.

Depending on all things and laws considered it could give you a chance to get something back to a family that some other part of the family wanted gone but you wanted to keep. Sad but true.
