I have muzzle breaks on most of my larger calibers 7.62x51 and up. I understand a suppressor works even better for recoil. I hope to find out some day soon.

I use QD mounts on my truck guns and guns I move around a lot. With QD mounts one twist and the can come off making it easier to case the gun or store it. On the guns that stay in my safe until I'm ready to shoot them I use direct threads. I always hand check the threaded cans to make sure they're tight before shooting.

This seems like a really weird article. I have muzzle brakes on a few of my guns. They work by redirecting a portion of the gas up and back a bit to help push the muzzle back down at the shot. How the hell are you going to suppress the sound on that? How would you even attach a suppressor?

A flash hider is more of a cage type device to redistribute the flaming gas into a bigger area to break up the fireball. Again, not sure how your going to attach a suppressor to that.

The only real way to attach a can to your barrel is with threads or with an adapter that threads on and then the can has a quick attach 1/4 turn. Still, a direct connection.

I could be wrong, I'm not an expert but I do have a whole bunch of guns.

I don't think they're saying you can suppress the muzzle break venting. The article seemed more like it presented choices for shooters.

>The brake serves as the mounting point for the suppressor, combining recoil management with sound suppression capabilities.

I think that's exactly what they are saying. Its gobbledy gook.

Example #285 proving I should read some of the crap I post...

Find a way to do them all, for science, then make sure to upload the video for us. Obviously with you remotely triggering it....

Really though, I have never worked with a Suppressor so I have no advice for you. I need to change that in the hopefully near future...
