Just got me an old-school Fudd style killing machine and am looking for parts, accessories, tips, advice, etc. Hell, I'm just excited and want to talk about it.

Any M14, M1A, or M1 Garand fans on board? Any in PA that know a good long range range? Like, 1,000 yards long range, within an hour of Harrisburg PA?

What grease do you use? Any helpful modifications to consider? I'm not very tacticool so mostly talking modifications like a better operating rod or better recoil spring, shit like that.

When I say Fudd I just mean I like wood grain. We should be able to own full auto and infinite magazine capacities. Shall not be infringed. There's a period at the end.

Holy hell, that's great info man, I didn't realize it was that simple, or cheap. How many do you have at this point, you seem to know your shit about CMP, and are talking about the first one that year. At that price I would understand.

Holy shit they do 1911's too! I need to go learn more about this organization.

All my guns were lost in a tragic boating accident. :)

The CMP is a fantastic program. They're currently inventorying Garands that were lent to the Turkish Gendarmerie and only recently returned after decades in foreign service (ok, mostly collecting dust in armories, but who am I to complain?).

Collecting dust in armories sounds good to me.

This was all excellent info, I appreciate you distilling it for me.
