If you're getting a decent price on a fully built Czech, I'd grab it. If it's a little steep, look into building one (AR or AK.) Builds usually come in a little cheaper than an off the rack. Plus side, you get the knowledge of the how to end and can take pride in having done it yourself.

Do some reading up, there's a world of different things out there. 80% lower and a jig or a torched in half import (also needs a tool/jig, idk the proper term.)

Also, be patient if you go through building route. Things can take some time to get to you. Mabye you only have X amount of cash and some parts have to wait. Builds aren't for everyone, tho.

possibly deciding to invest in one caliber may make a difference also.

Search for 5.56 and 7.62 x 39 in different amounts. Up to how ever much your willing to drop on ammo all at once. Take notes, jot amounts of ammo and prices down. This will give you a better idea what the average price is when you see a sale advertised.

Then... Then look into reloading.

Word to the wise. Don't go crazy on buying ammo until you put a few boxes of different casings, bullet weights, power loads, by different companies down range. Shits expensive and you don't want to find out (for instance) your AR doesn't like steel case after you spend big money and a hazmat fee on shipping just because it was on sale. (Even if you do, it's ammo, just list it, it'll sell quick.)
