I've never bought a handgun from Cabela's, but I've purchased a couple of rifles and that was bad enough. It literally takes an hour or more to wait for them to go through their whole check, re-check, re-re-check, re-re-re-check process where everybody from the salesman to the cashiers up to the store manager and back down to the janitor has to check the gun, the SN, and the paperwork at least 20 times each. And then do it all over again just to be sure. Once they're finally finished, assuming you still remember what you bought you still can't touch it until after an employee takes it and escorts you out the store into the parking lot. From there, you can finally have your new firearm and you can then go ahead and start gunning down people in the parking lot if you want. Just don't do it until you've left the store.
Yes this.
lmao..
