This is rapidly becoming my favorite new piece of kit for EDC. They make 'em for other brands, but my EDC is a G48 and this works pretty damn well. So well in fact, I just ordered another.
I actually discovered this thing when I was looking for an alternative to that works with aftermarket magazines. (No affiliation with Glock Store.)

If your pockets are deep it's hard to get the mag out quickly. Same if you have other things in your pocket.
Seems like a really expensive . I thought they were bullshit for the longest time but I bought one on a sale and it's actually pretty great considering it was like $12 compared to $31.
