I took home a bit more than that (net) working part time at McDonald's when I was in high school, over 6 months.

The "where did he get the $5,000 to buy the guns" argument is pretty weak.

He was physically abused as a kid by a violent father. His grandfather was a convicted felon who committed a violent crime and was not allowed to have guns. He had a shitty mother that hated him so much that she didn't want him to live with her, anymore, and sent him to live with his grandparents.

No need for weak conspiracy theories. He is a product of a shitty, violent, life. Throw 1,000 children through this same scenario and half of them will be violent criminals. More than 1 will murder. Guaranteed.
