They'd better make a deal with Trump right now, before the last of that generator power is gone and they can't make any more calls. Once that happens, I don't think there will be anything left stopping their civilians from just mass charging all government officials. The soldiers who would defend the government are probably thinking about their wife and kids being stuck with no power so will probably either step aside or join the mobs.
