As of Feb. 1, Lithuania stopped letting Belarus use the port of Klaipeda, largely in response to the U.S. sanctions. Belarus accounted for about 17.6%, or 12.2 million tonnes, of global production of potash, a key ingredient in fertilizer, in 2020.

Commodities is not my thing but this looks like it can have a chain reaction & that it's by design. It has the capacity to wipe out the poorest of world citizens.
