I stayed at a hotel recently that looked like a basement. The walls and ceiling were all unfinished cement. To be fair, the floor was laminate fake wood. No carpet though. No furniture other than the bed and an uncomfortable wooden stool. The desk was bolted to the cement wall and was about 12" wide. Just wide enough for my laptop. It did have a friggin 70" TV though, which I never turned on.
The funny part was they printed out a pamphlet explaining the virtue of an all cement room. I won't be staying there again.
