Main pic is just after giving it a good wash.

Then trace that tape with a Dremel and a tile cutting bit: https://pic8.co/sh/NxHFao.jpg

Looked pretty good, so I made a mess of it with the 4" grinder, in retrospect I should have taken out the 1"... https://www.imgbly.com/ib/OcbokDK28Y.jpeg

Time to move onto cleaning it up with an assortment of hand tools. Chisels, diamond files, regular files, an old paint brush for dust removal, some 80 grit sandpaper for the larger areas. https://pic8.co/sh/lThcDz.jpg

Nice. I thought sandblasting initially, but looks good.

I fear a sandblaster is one of those tools I'll never be able to justify buying.
