The model was just used for the movements. It does not say that the model was used to draw the character, though the similarity suggests it was.

Also, those ARE impossible beauty standards for non whites. Even for many white girls who just don't have the right bone structure. But it was never supposed to be a standard, rather it is an ideal. Everyone should aspire to get as close as possible.

If that were true there would not be a propaganda campaign dedicated to changing the public perception of what is considered beautiful. But you go ahead and keep desperately clinging to the idea that you can disprove a rule with an exception.

Even if she was totally unrealistic looking their complaining would be stupid. Sometimes a character just looks a certain way because that's what the artist made them look like. It's just a cartoon, nobody is putting a gun to your head telling you to look like the cartoon character.
