It's not the media or anyone else's responsibility. They have no such obligation. Personal accountability is where it starts and stops.
I would never fat shame in any other environment but this place is full of shitty people who spend their whole day talking down other people for a plethora of reasons.
The way I see it a fat slob has no right to look down on any other man because they don't have the sense to protect the most precious thing in life, their health.
I agree 100% - the individual needs to have accountability and take the first step. All I was arguing is that positive reinforcement is lacking in our current society.
Instead of seeing media where people are encouraged and praised for being healthy, we’re inundated with “healthy at any size” and “fat is beautiful” propaganda.
Again, it comes down to the individual, yes, but I don’t think we should ignore the potential positive and negative effects of the oversaturation of media.
A person will always fail if they rely on encouragement from others.
Indeed. That’s why a lot of guys who drop weight for pussy end up getting fat all over again after the relationship ends.
It’s all about the right perspective and motivation. If your motivation is a woman, that motivation is gone as soon as the woman is gone.
