Yeah I believe it’s satire. The “don’t touch water even to bathe” is the over-the-top line so people will catch on even if they get duped by the “dry fast” sales pitch.
It would take so much willpower to go even one day without water that I can’t imagine that anyone capable of doing that would have allowed themselves to become fat in the first place.
