One of the "selling points" of the mRNA gene therapies mislabeled as vaccines is that, unlike traditional vaccines, the gene therapies can be easily modified to produce new proteins. So, if the gene therapy developers knew what proteins they wanted their gene therapy to induce a human cell to produce, they could modify it. They wouldn't even need the original virus to do it - just a text file with the genetic information on it.
Whether they have or will modify any of their gene therapy concoctions to "combat" (i.e., make worse) one or any of the variants, I don't know. It doesn't seem like they have done so thus far.
Hopefully enough people will start to realize that this shit has gone way out of hand and that they should return to life as normal.
You're confusing DNA vaccines with mRNA vaccines. mRNA vaccines are not gene therapy.
But you've got it mostly correct. They only need to isolate the antigens on the new variants to quickly churn out a new mRNA vaccine that targets those antigens.
I am not confusing them. The mRNA vaccines can modify your genome, though they're not "supposed" to be able to.

They do not. You're confusing mRNA vaccines with DNA vaccines. mRNA vaccines do not modify their genome because it's mRNA, not DNA. That's...how it works.
They explicitly cannot interact with DNA and alter it. Because it's RNA.
The pharmacokinetics of mRNA vaccines literally do not work in a way that allows them to alter DNA. It is incapable of delivering a DNA altering payload.
DNA vaccines exist and are real. They do modify your genes.
