I've always thought it'd be cool to get a bunch of people to harass and out blue dots in public. Free speech. They go out to dinner, make a public service announcement that they're a pedo and leave. Groceries? "Yes everyone I'd like to announce really quickly that this man downloaded torture porn of small children. That is all." Make their lives impossible to go about normally ever again. I'll bet it deters at least some people, social humiliation can be worse than any prison cell.
