So I downloaded a 3ds emulator and a GBA emulator. I'm looking for a recommendation on a fun game. I like RPGs but I'll give anything a try if it's fun and engaging.

Gba has some of the best games ever.

Tactics Ogre, Advanced Wars 2, FF Tactics, Fire Emblem. Yes, I love turn based strat games but they have some rpg elements and are just great games.

I love tactics and fire emblem. Both are excellent games.

I've played Monster Hunter on a DSXL. That's a pretty fun game. It has the potential to drain a few hundred hours of your time.
