I will gladly make less money and use "inferior" products, at least when it comes to toys like this.
Yet you are happy to partake in someone else's hard work. You are saying the creators of work like this should be happy to barely cover their development effort and time because it's "just a toy". You can choose not to buy it if you don't like closed source, but that will not change the fact that a lot of work has gone into the development of this "toy" and the creators deserve to recoup their work and make a profit if they can. Obviously our values do differ. I value the work and effort that goes into creating something like this and I will gladly pay to help them continue to project.
As for the car you drive, you still depended on some corporation to make that car. Sure you can maintain it, but where do the parts and consumables come from? Those come from corporations too. Unless you build a car from 100% scratch, which includes mining and refining your own metals and other raw materials, you are benefiting from the closed work of others and corporations but dismissing their role in the process. I don't like kiked corporations either, but I don't despise corporations that started off as good old American spirit. Hate the kikes, but do realize that not every corporation started that way.
