Well you should try competing with the chinks who rip everything off. Open Source allows them to turn good projects into crap by flooding the market with garbage clones. This is one of the biggest reasons Open Source is a terrible business model. It doesn't promote better projects- it promotes lower quality knock-offs and inferior works. The chinks aren't here to make FOSS projects better. They are here to make as much money as they can before the project turns to shit. Closed source gets in their way so it is a benefit if you want to see projects like this mature and improve over time. Open Source is too socialist of an idea to work in this world. I used to promote it until it became a race to the bottom and proved itself to bear little or no fruit after decades of implementation. I believe in closed source again because it made things work and even made Open Source possible.
