I drive an older vehicle. It could be considered an antique, but it was not a matter of price, but rather a matter of personal preference. The parts are readily available and there is nothing on there that i cannot fix myself. it is not "smart" and will not tell anyone where i am or what i am doing. oh, and it doesn't look like everyone else. I hate what our vehicles have turned into. vehicles used to have soul and could be considered an extension of ones personality. those days are gone.

Yes. The sameness of the auto industry runs deep too. They all participate in the EV, ESG madness: they're all woke. It's like we have communism without calling it that. Sure, you can get different colors, but other than that they're all the same.

What do you drive? This info should be shared

[–] 1 pt

One of the very vehicles listed.

This image is cut off a bit. Here's the whole image. I drive the Toyota one.

I swear they even recycle designs from brand to brand. The new Toyota Corollas look like the old 2010 style Honda Civics, just slightly updated.

I'm wondering if every car is built by the same manufacturer and just rebranded with slight body variations. They are dull, uninteresting and ugly.

We were nurtured on the promise that the future would be flying cars. Well, we have caught up to said future and we are all motoring around in terrestrial bubbles.

[–] 1 pt

Why are the wheels all photoshopped to look the same? Are there any other features manipulated?

[–] 2 pts

I believe the idea is to eliminate cosmetic details like that and focus on overall body shape.

[–] 1 pt

This is very deceptive. First off they covered up the wheels, exposing their own bias and their willingness to alter the image to push their agenda. Second they altered the color of the cars to make them look the same when in fact they don't all offer that bland, shit shade of child molester van white.

Third, these cars don't all have the same lenght. These images have been scaled to be the same when in fact the cars are not.

Fourth, it is cherrypicking cars that look alike, but making the claim that this proves all cars look alike, that is just stupid and increadibly wrong. They literally had to alter these images just to make that claim, even after cherry picking all the cars that look alike.

On top of that all the major brands build cars to fit a particular category. Every one of those manufacturers has a dozen different cars each built for a different market. All of these are similar because they are all built for a specific category. This is done because consumers have a preference in the type of car they want and will choose one from that category. People do this because there is such a gluttony of choice our brains can't process all a the options at once so we start by pruning most of the options and focusing on one or two types, then going from there.

So reality is literally the opposite of what this graphic is claiming. You have all been bamboozled.

You have a brilliant career on twitter or reddit as an unpaid fact checker.

The point stands, if you take out the rims (which aren't the car), the design of all of these cross-over vehicles is basically the same.

Yeah, never mind the other ways the images were modifies, right?

Never mind that all the cars belong to a very partucular category of car.

Very low IQ take.

It's a meme, and it's true. Lighten up.

Wow, I had no idea the wool had been pulled over my eyes so successfully. Your in-depth analysis of this obviously nefarious (probably CIA) propaganda has saved us all from unknown horror.

Fight on, proud warrior, fight on.

Sometimes they lie for the sake of lying (thepeoplesvoice.tv) If every lie had a strategy or purpose it would make the lies easier to detect.

[–] 1 pt

The works of jews obviously.

[–] 1 pt

Obviously.

[–] 1 pt

Robbing the world of creation is what they do indeed.

[–] 1 pt

Idk if this is in jest or not, but the truth is they are all the same because of safety and mpg laws.

So yeah jews.

[–] 0 pt

They don’t care about safety or mpg anymore than they have to. All they care about is turning everything ugly and prison like. It is to rob us of God’s beautiful creations that we as mere humans try to emulate thereby helpful to them in removing all vestiges of God from our lives

No.

I'm so glad I was a " teen " in the late 70s. We had the best cars of any generation .

GM had differing styles , Buick , Oldsmobile , Chevy all had sweet cars , based on same platform , yet distinct styles. MoPar had insanely cool cars , AMC even had the AMX.

3 Wrenches and a couple screwdrivers and you could fix almost anything. My first car I bought was a 69 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 350 Rocket with a turbo 400 and 12 bolt posi . Paid 400 bucks , it had 72k miles , literally bought it from a lil old lady .

Sure the cars were more temperamental, but they had class and style. Now these cars were roughly 10 years old or more , but man they were great !

I have noticed this it is sad. The US used to take pride in their vehicles being unique.

Most cars are so ugly too.

It's sad. Modern vehicles suck and are ugly.

Nearly all of the vehicles in your meme are unappealing, but the BMW stands out as truly hideous.
