good for you! I used to read lots of books, then I had multiple kids and barely get time to scratch my crack anymore. Love the kids, but man it would be nice to have some free time once a year or so.
I’m getting to that point with my oldest. We’re working on lord of the rings right now. I’m not sure how many more series she’ll be interested in once we wrap up this one…
There is a significant portion of the population that are functionally illiterate. I had an aunt that started me reading 55 years ago. From the 70's to the 90's I read 1-2 books a week. Mostly non fiction. I read less now but stay current with political books and biographies.
